Mohammad Reza Ghaebi issued a statement in response to the release of a report by the director-general of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on verification of the JCPOA implementation.
Ghaebi said that the report was a technical one on monitoring implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in accordance with the UN Security Council resolution 2231 which informs the IAEA members of the latest developments and technical information on Iran’s nuclear activities.
Iran has informed the IAEA on April 4 that it has moved all centrifuge-parts production machines from Karaj to Natanz and that has been verified by the IAEA inspectors the same day, Ghaebi cited the report as saying.
The IAEA completed installation of surveillance cameras at Natanz facility on April 12 and removed the seals from the machines the same day and the IAEA has been informed that the machines were used to produce pipes, bellows and rotors of centrifuges, he added.
The Iranian diplomat also said that Iran told the IAEA on April 13 that the machines have become operational in the new location the same day.
Ghaebi underlined that the IAEA wasn’t allowed to have access to the footages of the surveillance cameras and wouldn’t be allowed until Iran resumes full compliance with the JCPOA.
